What is Theology vs YHVH-ology?
Throughout the last two millennia of “Christian” history, there have been several types of theology, the most popular being Patristic, Scholastic, Rationalism, Positive and Mystic. Mystic Theology was overrun by Patristic Theology which later led to Scholastic Theology back to Mysticism with a revival of Scholasticism, now identified as Neo-Scholasticism. Eventually, Descartes lead the way in dissolving Scholastic Theology and back into Mysticism, ending the Scholastic era. All these theology models were heavily influenced by either Platonism or Aristoteleanism or both. All the foregoing history emerged because the early “Christian” apologists found they had no philosophy of their own and how could they stand up to the proud pagan world and its literature and philosophy who were ready to flaunt their inheritance of wisdom at any moment in the face of ignorant “Christians. What answer could they give to the “wisdom” of Plato or Aristotle? But, alas, none was needed.
YHVH-ology is not a mainstream “Christian” theology model. Theology is popularly known as the science or the study of God (Theos - transliteration) and of the relations between God, man and the universe. However, the word Theos and Theology come from Greek influences (Hellenism) since the word Theos is a Greek prefix to each Greek deity which is not a term that Christ or the Apostles would have used. The Messiachim (a name used by Jews to collectively refer to the people who believe that Christ is Messiah) would have used the name YHVH (transliteration) instead of God and possibly Yahweh for the Tetragrammaton YHVH. Furthermore Christ's name was actually Yahushua, not Jesus and the proper transliteration for Messiah (Christ) is Mashia.
Some believe that Jesus may be an English translation of a Greek goddess of healing, Iesos/Iaso (transliteration) but this is not 100% certain. Some Jewish Messiachim historians believe that it is also probably linked to the origins of Zeus (transliteration), a Greek God (Koster, 1986 and Wiseman, 1990) but this has not been substantiated. It is also believed that the name Jehovah was given prominence by the Vatican. It emerged by inserting the vowel points of Adonai into the sacred Tetra gram YHVH and symbolized the ecumenicalism of that period. (Wiseman, 1990). Therefore, the term "theology" would more accurately be applied to the study of the Greek gods (and perhaps the gods of other non-Jewish and non-"Christian" religions) and not the YHVH of the Jews and of the Messiachim.
Therefore, YHVH-ology would more accurately describe the specialty study of the God of the Jews (YHVH). Although similar to classical Judaism, it is not classical Judaism (Normative or Rabbinic Judaism) since YHVH-ology includes the early church (the Messiachim) too, since they, after all, were Jews who believed that Yahushua was the Mashia (Christ, the anointed one). YHVH-ology does however lean more toward Normative Judaism, rather than Neo-Normative Judaism in form but not in content and rejects Patristic and Scholastic methodologies (the dialectical teaching in particular) as applied to YHVH-ology. YHVH-ology sits between the middle of the Normative Judaism era and the early "Christian" apologetics era.
YHVH-ology is, a Revelation of YHVH, his essence, existence and purpose (will) and how that relates to or impacts on human relations with YHVH and the universe around, which is ultimately expressed by one main premise (see below) from which all material (organic or inorganic) or immaterial, form, life, thought and behavior (including action and reaction) spring forth. YHVH-ology does not preclude nor condemn the pursuit or study of philosophy, nature (or natural sciences), politics, arts or history so long as said pursuit/study does not deter one from nor minimize or diminish the Revelation of YHVH. Even though much in the universe (nature) supports and validates this divine revelation or conversely may seem to contradict divine Revelation, but it does not diminish it nor is any kind of rationalism or dialectic needed to support or defend the “is” of YHVH. Notwithstanding, said pursuits/studies can cloud or dissolve the divine revelation within the heart and mind of the pursuer/researcher/student, if not guarded.
As already indicated above, YHVH-ology is comprised of one main premise, By Him-For Him, with four relevant and associated principles. They are delineated below in outline form only, as follows:
The Main Premise
BY HIM – FOR HIM Facilitated because of and by the divine energy source DIVINE LOVE
Principle One
THE DIVINE CULMINATION PATH Divine Creation (and its degeneration) (led to) The Divine Reconciliation/Regeneration Phase (which leads to) The Divine Culmination
Principle Two
FAITH
(The invitation to and participation in the Divine Culmination Path begins inorganically/spiritually and will eventually display itself tangibly, i.e., behaviorally/organically within human reality)
Principle Three
RECONCILIATION/REGENERATION
(Faith is displayed tangibly by advancing down The Divine Culmination Path continuum via Covenant participation)
Principle Four
UNIVERSAL TRI-DIRECTIONAL AXIOM
(Proof of Covenant Enjoinment, beyond the Seal of YHVH, is revealed spiritually and behavioral as diagramed below)
