Since that time WCMA has grown to over 1,790 churches, 2,328 ministers, ministries, charities and organizations representing over 175,000 constituents, under the guidance of its Chief Apostle, Daniel Briggs, Ph.D.
WCMA decided to incorporate in 2007 enabling it to begin a 501(c)(3) application process with the IRS. Once approved, this will allow WCMA to solict larger donations, foundation grants, faith-based Government grants and other government supported programs. WCMA is a unique non-profit ecclesiastical organizational vehicle that continues to expand rapidly bringing Apostolic Christian charities, philanthropists, donors and volunteers together to help spread the gospel and eradicate hunger, poverty, disease, homelessness, injustice and inequity among fellow Christian children and families around the world. WCMA is accomplishing this by implementing its mission which includes building churches with affiliated cooperatives, bringing together and supporting existing and new ministers and ministries of like mind via WCMA Affiliate Memberships, Sponsorship Programs, Visiting Minister Programs, national and international workshops and developing WCMA international branches.
WCMA believes that if multitudes of fellow Christians are not fed (even starving), unclothed and basic needs unmet, then it is immoral if Christians who are well fed, well clothed and have all other basic needs met do not help their fellow Christians in need. This resonates with many Christian leaders who see the reality of this everday. Therefore, many desire to unite with WCMA to create a louder voice and help facilitate a paradigm shift within the global community.
The book of Acts clearly reveals that the first church developed and maintained a social gospel program separate from the local government. Unlike the USA and wealthy European nations, most third-world countries do not have government programs or funds by which they adequately address poverty. Some governments even disenfranchise Christians preventing them from even availing the minimal help other non-Christians may receive. Therefore, it is time for Christians everywhere to rise up and eradicate this disparity and inequity among fellow Christians once and for all through long-lasting cooperative programs—a gift that keeps on giving year after year. Your financial Christian charitable contributions and willingness to volunteer in WCMA’s programs are vital to fulfilling our mutual, moral, Christian obligation.
WCMA is becoming a beacon of light and hope around the world with your help. Together, as a unified body, we can accomplish our God Ordained two-fold mission around the world.
