Picture of Founder of Apostolic Charities, Churches, Ministries and Organizations
Founder/Chairman

Brother Daniel Briggs earned his Ph.D. from Walden University, his C.A.C. from AAINE (n/f Alfred Adler Institute of New England), and did most of his undergraduate work in Sociology at Norwich University (finishing his Th.B. at Indiana Bible College).  Dr. Daniel Briggs has been successful in founding and developing numerous organizations and businesses in both the for-profit and non-profit sectors. To read a brief historical summary on how World Christian Ministries Association came into being, click here.

Dr. Daniel Briggs also founded Bangor Counseling Center, n/f Cornerstone, Inc., n/f Cornerstone Theological University, First
Apostolic Church of Biddeford, Apostolic Church of Faith, Maine Christian Ministries, Office Management Systems, Inc. and Briggs' YHVH-centric Psychology.  He also founded Aletheia Logos University (n/f UWCMA), which is now approved to operate in the State of Florida, and Institute for Briggs' YHVH-centric Psychology.  He also helped establish, design and build the Pentecostal Church of Moncton.  He has authored several books, most notably Disciples of Christ Vol. 1, Disciples of Christ Vol. 2, Disciples of Christ Vol. 3, Disciples of Christ Vol. 4, Disciples of Christ Vol. 5, Disciples of Christ Vol. 6, Disciples of Christ Vol. 7, The Eclipse of the Enlightenment, and A Comparative Historical Analysis of Freudian, Adlerian and Theocentric Psychologies, with over 52,000 of his books in circulation and growing daily.

Daniel A Briggs, Ph.D., is a third generation clergyman who began his life calling when he was just 15 years old, when he first started preaching under the guidance of his father, Rev. Arthur Briggs, in Winterport, Maine.  When Dr. Daniel Briggs was 17 years old he began attending seminary in the USA and by 18 years of age he transferred to a Canadian seminary and simultaneously began to minister in many churches throughout Eastern Canada.  By the time he was 19, he was already a licensed minister and an Assistant Pastor in Moncton, NB Canada, where he helped double that congregation in six months.  With no room left for more growth, Dr. Daniel Briggs designed and helped build Moncton's largest Apostolic Pentecostal church in the six months that followed.  When he was 20 years old, he left Moncton and began pastoring in Kouchibouguac, NB, Canada.  Within a year, he had tripled that church, began a prison ministry and started a "revival" in a neighboring town, facilitating long-lasting community changes.  By age 21  Dr. Daniel Briggs left Canada and went to Biddeford, Maine (a predominately catholic french speaking city) to start a new congregation he named First Apostolic Church of Biddeford (FACB).

During his tenure at FACB, Dr. Daniel Briggs founded World Christian Ministries Association (WCMA-Maine) on February 11, 1993, with FACB as its Headquarters Church, which reflected his burning desire to expand his vision and theological perspectives.  This new ecclesiastical birth fostered a unique approach to home missions, supporting other existing ministers and churches needing/desiring support and fellowship, expanding and improving ministerial training, developing and improving Apostolic literature and spreading the gospel.  WCMA-Maine has since divested in 2008 to WCMA-Florida.

Dr. Briggs is now the Chairman of the Board of World Christian Ministries Association, Inc. (WCMA-Florida) which he began developing as an unincorporated church for Apostolic Pentecostal ministers, churches, ministries, charities and organizations to help spread the gospel and help less fortunate apostolic pentecostal christians in developing countries.  Since he began this work in early 2006, it has flourished to over 4,300 churches, ministries, ministers, charities and organizations representing over 202,246 constituents.  Therefore, WCMA decided to incorporate in 2007 to begin a 501(c)(3) application process so it could solicit grants, larger donations and government sponsored programs.
