The Origins of Morality
Book Abstract
In this book, Daniel A. Briggs, Ph.D., PsyA, not only challenges many of the popular theorists and their theories that underpin “front runner” views on the origins of morality but also exposes many of the flaws found in them. Some of the theorists challenged in this book are such notables as Hume, Bentham, Epicurus, Lemaitre, Hubble, Freud, Adler, Hawking, Dawkins and Haidt, to name a few. Some of the theories challenged are the Big Bang, Evolution, GST, Memes, Kin Selection, Reciprocal Altruism, Hedonistic Calculus and many more.
This book sheds light on consilient and convergent reasons why widely accepted theories should be reexamined to either incorporate new ideas, reinstate some ancient ideas or in many cases conduct long overdue theory funerals, in order to provide a more logical and a more enlightened answer to the origins of morality question. Basic understanding of human morality becomes more convoluted going forward as theorists continue to abandon or neglect fundamental truths that have always been critical to it and that enable the understanding of it. This treatise is a must read for every college student, professor, cleric and layperson alike. It will take you to places where you have never been, especially “outside the box.”
One of the main premises of this book, the UTA, was endorsed by Rev. Dr. David Bernard (UPCI General Supt.) in the early nineties when it was first being developed. A copy of that interview is available upon request and will be a part of an upcoming book soon to be published.

Below is a recent letter I received that may be of interest to our readers...it relates to End-Time events.
Dear WCMA:
The situation in Egypt is critical. Radical Islam is on the rise in Egypt. Ex. President Mubarak controlled the expression of this movement while he was in office. Since the revolution, radical supporters have seized the opportunity to transition Egypt into an Islamic state that applies Sharia Law to every aspect of daily life.
Two days ago, 50,000 of the Muslim Brotherhood and Salafists gathered near the pyramids in Cairo, Egypt to make several alarming and important statements. These statements were as follows:
1. The United Arab State is coming. They are referring to the unity of all Arab states.
2. The United States of Islam is coming. They are referring to the conquest of the United States of America for Islam and the application of Sharia law.
3. The new Khalifa of Muslims is coming. Khalifa is the successor of Muhammad and is considered the Imam (leader) of all Muslims in the world.
In addition, clashes with Christians are increasing. These clashes are based on spiritual factors—namely the hatred that radical Muslims hold in their hearts toward Christians, the infidels, and their desire to rid their land of those who associate other gods with Allah.
Also, Christians living in Egypt are tempted to live in fear. Deadly attacks have occurred and more are a real threat. It is tempting to respond with violent force when faced with persecution. We must pray that rather than responding in violence that Christians would respond in love. To overcome evil with good must be an act of the Holy Spirit of God. It is also the only thing that can disarm the mounting hatred.
Pray for Christians to have wisdom, discernment and patience and for Muslims to find their way to God through Jesus Christ. He alone can take away the hatred and blindness and replace it with His love and peace.
These are urgent prayer requests for Egypt. Please join with us in these prayers and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in praying for this nation in chaos.

Dr. Briggs will be in Ireland from April 24, 2010 to May 1, 2010. If you are able to join him there at your own expense, be sure to make plans and contact WCMA for necessary travel and address information. Please join him in prayer that this visit with the Murray Missionaries will launch a spiritual break through in this part of Ireland.
WCMA would like to establish a week of prayer for the first week of April every year. We ask all WCMA affiliates to join together around the world to pray for each other and the work of YHVH, that he will advance his will on earth as it is in heaven.

Below is a recent letter from Pastor John Yamungu E. from Uganda. We are always glad to hear good news from around the world. Earlier this year, Pastor Yamunga was also able to distribute an additional 150 CDs to other ministers from various churches. We continue to pray that these resources will continue be a great blessing to each of you and around the world.

I am informing you concerning the work I am doing here in Kampala Uganda on the side of wcma.This teachings is a blessing to our fellow ministers in Kampala.
From 25th- 30th September I was in a village called Kalonga in Mubende district , I trained 100 ministers of God. Among them wrere pastors and Evangelists from different churches. The training was for free and the ministers enjoyed the teachings.
From 5th-8 October, I trained 80 leaders from different churches and training was also for free.
On 9thOctober 2009, I made 250 copies of the CD you sent me and I distributed them to the students of Yesu Akwagala Bible College Kampala. The distribution was for free.
The ministers there are requesting me to open a centre of training for them but my ressources is not enough.
I will request you to send me another documents.

A recently WCMA approved Seed Grant provided funds for the purchase of three female, pregnant goats. Anwar Masih (far right, top right photo) is CVM's Village Coordinator, who purchased the goats for the Co-op Project. Mr. and Mrs Gulnaz (center photo), will be the recipient of the purchase and is the Seed Grant Co-op Coordinator, who attends the Christ Voice Ministries in Pakistan, where Brother Hanif Masih (2nd in from left, top right photo) is pastor. Mr. Gulnaz (on left with crutches, center right photo) recently lost a leg in an accident making it even more difficult for this poor family to survive. This Seed Grant will allow Sister Gulnaz to help support her family during this time of transition and need and will also be a great blessing to the local church. Your continued support will help expand this program that keeps giving and giving.
Thank you to all our donors who helped make this possible. With your continued prayers and financial support many more wonderful projects like this one can be launched.
